Nettie......

I am the eldest of three children and I was born and raised in Portsmouth, Hampshire in the south of England. I am the mother of two daughters and one son who are my best friends.

I worked for a number of years in a school as a behaviour manager. Whilst pursuing this career; I trained and qualified as a person centred counsellor.

Life has brought many experiences to my door including, divorce, domestic violence, love and the death of friends and family. These experiences have led to me writing THE RAW PATH.

In 2004 I married my new husband Lee. Through another set of circumstances we spent time visiting other countries such as India and Africa, we then decided to retire to Belize, Central America. There I became involved with two schools and an orphanage. The life that I witnessed there changed my outlook on life again.

Whilst in Belize I entered an international poetry competition for The International Poetry Society and was shortlisted to 'runner-up' stage with the poem FREEDOM.

Lee and I are currently living in Spain where we own a shop in the small village of Orba in the east of the country.
