Welcome to my website

My full biography is on the 'Biog' page, on this opening page of my website I would like to give you a little insight into myself and my poetry.

I started writing around 1997. The catalyst that formed the basis of this book was due to experiencing violence from a then partner. I quickly realized that through writing I could release emotions, not only from that particular area of life, but also from earlier events, some going back to childhood days. Over a period of 8 years, I collected a great deal of work, covering a wealth of experiences.

Writing this book, THE RAW PATH, has been very cathartic, not just for me, but for my children who have shared many of the experiences with me and who have approved me writing my book. THE RAW PATH reflects true and sometimes harsh experiences, but at no time does it ever scream ‘victim’.

The book was released from the publishers, LIBROS INTERNATIONAL, in December 2007 and is available from bookshops or Amazon.
